Description A least square method is given to determine the parameters of uptake kinetics of phytoplankton in a multi-nutrient environment with possible nutrient interaction. The nonlinear minimization problem is reduced to solving a polynomial equation in a parameter that is either Michaelis-Menten constant or half-inhibition or activation constant.
