Description The most widely used method to study the condition of winder ropes is the magnetic nondestructive method. Localized and distributed flaws in winder ropes can be detected by this method. This paper is intended to highlight the findings using such a technique in the case of independent wire rope core rope in two cage winders in a coal mine.
