A new long chain aliphatic compound, 10-methyl-<i style="">n</i>-heptacosane and a new sugar, diglucosyldirhamnoside have been isolated from the ethanolic extract of the stem bark of <i style="">Balanites aegyptiaca. </i>The structures of these compounds were elucidated by a combination of spectral methods (lR, MS, <sup>I</sup>H and <sup>I3</sup>C NMR). |
