Description |
In this work, we successfully develop a mode-locked fiber lasers utilizing a nano-engineered Tm3+-doped yttrium-alumina-silica (YAS) glass fiber and a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM). The gain fiber, produced by Dr. M. C. Paul's group in CSIR, India, presents several benefits, including high efficiencies and low loss.
