This study presents fast and reliable immunoassays to provide appropriate toxin concentration data in 5 min to monitorindustrial culture processes. A latex agglutination reagent for semi-quantification of <i>Clostridium novyi </i>B <img src='http://www.niscair.res.in/jinfo/Alpha.gif' border=0>-toxin was developed, characterized and validated in actual industrial conditions. This reagent represents a useful real-time assay, generating data during toxin preparation process and thus increasing efficiency of <img src='http://www.niscair.res.in/jinfo/Alpha.gif' border=0>-toxin industrial production from <i>C. novyi </i>B cultures. |
