<b>Fruit</b>- Flavour plays an important role in food acceptability but the volatile compounds that comprise flavour may easily be lost, degraded, or oxidized during processing steps such as dehydration. <br><br> <b>Insecticide/Pesticide</b>- It has been reported that pulse seeds could be prevented from insect infestation by mixing them with either coconut oil or neem oil or gingelly oil (10 gm/kg grain). |
