Description Breathe supports the survival of human life while breathing apparatus provides safety to life for under ground mine workers. Sodalime is an important part of self – contained close circuit breathing apparatus, SCBA. It absorbs carbon dioxide from exhaled air of human breathe. Rescue-trained persons use it during adverse situation such as fire explosion or emission of toxic gasses in mines. The quality of indigenous sodalime was evaluated in BG-174 and BG-4 Breathing apparatus. The duration of breathing apparatus was evaluated in artificial mechanical human lung machine in simulation of breathing rate and percentage of carbon dioxide in exhaled gas mixture. The duration of BG-174 and BG-4 was observed more in 3.5 mm in comparison to 2.0 mm grain size of sodalime. By preksha Meditation, a man can improve his efficiency and life by the practice of five to six slow and deep breathing per minute. On experiment of such theory it may also have significant value to increase to duration of breathing apparatus within the same set up.
